North Myrtle Beach Christian School (NMBCS) strives to enrich the lives of every student. Small class size helps each student get the individual attention needed. Students have the opportunity to be taught in the academic realm and can experience activities in the areas of athletics, fine arts, and, most importantly, spiritual growth. We are here to provide a safe learning environment for our students to grow into well-informed individuals ready to pursue God’s Plan for their lives. We would love to have your family become a part of NMBCS. Come by for a visit and see how God is blessing our school. We are the “Best Kept Secret in North Myrtle Beach!”

NMBCS opened its doors in 1996. NMBCS exists to provide a positive, challenging, biblically-based educational experience. Our students develop their God-given talents to the utmost, so they are equipped to be the next generation’s Christian leaders. At NMBCS, we educate students from Pre-K through the 12th Grade. Since its inception, NMBCS has been a light within its community. At NMBCS, we strive to discover God’s plan for our students’ lives, develop their God-given talents, and deliver God’s message.

NMBCS COVID-19 Policy [2/1/22]

  • COVID is everywhere so coming to school could expose your child to a positive case, just like any other virus. Therefore if your child does not have any symptoms, s/he may come to school. No one should come to school who is exhibiting any COVID symptoms, including Omicron or other variants.
  • If your child tests positive, s/he must isolate for 5 days and the school nurse must be notified of test date and symptom onset. Work will either be provided online or in packets, depending on the grade level, but must be completed in order to continue the education process.
  • Masks may be worn in school at parent’s discretion.  Teachers will not be held accountable to enforce a parent’s choice for their child to wear a mask.  We suggest it to be worn in chapel due to the large group size in the small room, but we are not requiring masks.  The school has a supply of masks on hand for chapel.
  • We will be transparent if there is a positive case in your child’s class and let you, the parent, decide if you wish your child to quarantine.  You must notify the school for attendance purposes and work will be provided either online or in make-up packets, depending on grade level.
